Aug 7: Human vs. Cat: When Litter Box Problems Cause a Rift

We cat guardians will try almost anything to avoid the litter box, but it can come at a cost. Besides creating unintended litter box issues, the cat’s welfare could be at risk – along with the welfare of the human-animal relationship. Cat Camp counselors Jackson Galaxy and Dr. Mikel Delgado, cat behavior consultant at Feline Minds will discuss these common conflicts and give cat guardians the tools they need to live successfully with their cats – and their cats’ litter boxes.

Aug. 14: You’re Not Going Crazy, You’re Grieving

In this virtual safe space, Cat Camp counselors Jackson Galaxy and Animal Companion Loss Recovery Specialists Stephanie Rogers will guide you through animal companion loss in a world in which the grief experiences of personal loss have been amplified by the universal losses associated with COVID-19. Attendees will find support in the company of others trying to incorporate similar losses into their own lives.

Aug. 21: What’s the Scoop (on Kitten Poop)?

In this interactive webinar, Cat Camp Counselors Hannah Shaw (also known as Kitten Lady) and Dr. Rachel Wallach will discuss the causes of tummy troubles, available diagnostic tools, at-home skills and when it’s time to seek veterinary care. Attendees will get a frank conversation about this important topic, followed by a Q&A.

Ticket prices for the virtual talks range from $10 to $20. Cat Camp Summer Sessions will be 90 minutes and take place via Zoom. For more information and to register, visit catcamp.com.

Join Kitten Lady and other experts to learn all about kitten and cat care.
